Acorns Children's Hospice are now looking for a People & Culture (HR) Coordinator to lead on the processing and maintenance of employee related data, ensuring accuracy and relevance and efficiency for the department. 

About the Role

At Acorns Children’s Hospice we offer specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. 

As a People & Culture Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide administrative support to the People & Culture Team that ensures efficiency and that we are making the most of technology
  • Manage, field and answer general queries and emails on the HR Inbox and escalate if needed
  • Onboard new colleagues joining the organisation
  • Manage and maintain the full employee database, ensuring records are accurate and up to date regularly.

About You

  • Previous admin experience in a busy environment
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Able to demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Digitally literate - MS Office applications in particular
  • Strong attention to detail

You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and therefore any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references.
