Retail Volunteers (Pershore Superstore)

We have a variety of exciting volunteer opportunities available at Acorns Children's Hospice Superstore in Pershore!

Acorns have a network of shops across the West Midlands that generate a substantial level of income to enable us to care for children and their families. 

To help us to continue to provide the care that we do, we are looking for fun and enthusiastic volunteers to join us in our Pershore Superstore.You'll feel right at home as you work alongside passionate individuals who truly care about the cause and each other. It's more than just volunteering; it’s about joining a team that values collaboration, kindness, and making a difference together. 

The store is open - Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. 

What’s it like to be a Shop Volunteer?

As a Shop Volunteer, you’ll dive into a rewarding role where no two days are the same! Roles can be tailored to your area of interest or preference. Here’s a glimpse of what you can get up to:

• Engage with Customers – Create a warm, welcoming environment and make a real difference by helping customers find exactly what they need.
• Sort & Organise Donations – Get hands-on with sorting through unique and interesting donated items.
• Price & Display – Use your creativity to price and beautifully arrange items, ensuring they’re ready for sale and catch the eyes of eager shoppers.
• Work the Till – Take charge of the register, helping customers complete their purchases with a smile and making sure every transaction runs smoothly.

How much time will it take?

The shop will be open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm. You can volunteer the hours that suit you, but ideally we’d like you to volunteer for at least 3 hours per week.
